The Mission:
Intercepting Horses Before It’s Too Late Every week, sound, gentle, and capable horses find themselves trapped in the slaughter pipeline—often through no fault of their own. From terrified weanlings to faithful older companions discarded at auction, their window for safety is narrow, and the clock is always ticking. We step in to secure bail, provide emergency transport, and give these horses the medical care, nutrition, and natural horsemanship foundation they need to heal and thrive. Rescuing a horse is more than just securing their release—it is a hands-on logistical mission that requires round-the-clock dedication, heavy hauling, quarantine management, and long-term rehabilitation.
Where Your Donation Goes (Complete Cost Transparency) Transparency is the foundation of our rescue efforts. Every dollar goes directly toward the operational expenses required to bring these horses home safely and sustain their recovery:
Bail & Lot Fees: Securing direct release from auctions, kill pens, and broker lots before shipping deadlines expire.
Hauling, Fuel & Mileage: Fuel and maintenance for heavy-duty rescue rigs, trailers, tolls, and the hundreds of miles driven to pick up horses on tight turnaround schedules.
Emergency Veterinary Intake: Coggins testing, health certificates (interstate transit papers), vaccines, deworming, dental floats, and urgent injury or illness treatment.
Farrier Care: Immediate corrective trimming and hoof rehabilitation for neglected or overgrown hooves.
Quarantine & High-Calorie Nutrition:
Quality alfalfa/grass hay, weight-gain concentrates, ulcer treatments, electrolytes, probiotics, and bio-secure quarantine boarding to safely transition new arrivals.
Rehabilitation & Groundwork: Safe handling, natural horsemanship ground-ties, trailer loading confidence, and retraining to prepare them for loving, permanent adoptive homes.
❤️How You Can Help Right Now $25 – $50: Funds immediate hoof care, deworming, and high-protein feed for the critical first week.
❤️$100 – $250: Covers a full tank of diesel for a multi-hour transport run or emergency veterinary intake exams.
❤️$500 – $1,000+: Secures bail for a horse in imminent danger, completely funding their release and immediate journey to safety.
❤️If you cannot give financially, sharing this campaign reaches the people who can. Thank you for standing between these horses and the trailer out of the country.
