Hi, I am Erich, my wife Nikohl and I are raising funds to provide intensive therapy for our daughter Haileigh which is not covered by insurance.

She was born 6 weeks early and at one month old on Christmas Eve of 2022 was found unresponsive and went into cardiac arrest. It took 45 minutes for her to be resuscitated. As a result, was given a diagnosis of hypoxia ischemic encephalopathy (HIE). Along with Cerebral Palsy and Epilepsy. She spent 8 days on a ventilator and 22 days in the hospital. She was on an NG tube for a month and was told she would never be able to feed herself and may need a GJ tube.

It was unknown if she would survive and she has made great strides in her recovery. Within a month she started taking a bottle and eventually we were able to remove the NG tube. She was able to gain head control and hand eye coordination. Also, can sit unsupported for short periods of time.

She has been in regular PT, OT and Speech therapy and is getting stronger each day. Also, being monitored by her neurologist closely due to her abnormal EEG activity/MRI and is on medication for seizures and reflux.

To achieve her milestones it has been recommended by her treatment staff that intensive therapy would be a next step option. The program runs two to three weeks, everyday for 2/4 hours a day and is recommended to be done twice a year. Some therapy sessions are offered out of state which requires travel.
