Hi friends!
As many of you already know, our daughter Emma was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy due to a brain injury at birth. She has a mild case of spastic quadriplegia which is basically stiffness in the muscles in all four limbs, and a weak neck and trunk which affects her ability to sit and hold up her head independently. Emma is cognitively a smart girl, enjoys school and learning, but is very limited physically. There are various therapies that can help address and even overcome some of these physical challenges that Emma has. We have decided to do an intensive therapy program with her this summer. Intensive therapy has been proven to be very beneficial for kiddos like Emma, it provides 30 hours of therapy in just 3 weeks time instead of just the typical 2-3 hours of physical therapy a month that she gets at school.
The cost for this therapy is estimated to be around $5000, but unfortunately is not covered by insurance. That is why we are asking for your help to cover the cost. Your donation will go directly towards covering the expenses of this intensive therapy. Any contribution, no matter how big or small will make a difference, and your support and kindness will offer hope to Emma and to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting Emma's journey.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Randy and Mary Ellen
