DCET helping Young Adults with Disabilities
As Acapulco has been recently devastated by Hurricane Otis. DCET (Believe in Yourself) a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization in the Dallas Fort Worth area, will assist its sister city Acapulco as thousands of families lost their homes. There is no electricity, no food, no drinking water, no gasoline; a total chaos, an imperative EMERGENCY!
DCET has chosen the Miel y Canela organization (MyC), located in Acapulco, México that supports young adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. This group of 29 participants are suffering the total devastation and destruction of their houses by Hurricane Otis. These disabled young adults lost everything! DCET’s goal is to provide a seed of hope for them.
DCET will assist them raising funds to help them have a place to live, home essentials and a plate of hot food for themselves and their families.
MyC’s mission is to provide workforce development opportunities for them reintegrating them into society while selling products and services and arts crafts so that they can aspire to achieve personal economical independence. At this point their vision and mission is about to collapse. DCET wants to rescue them!
MYC beneficiaries will not be able to act by themselves like before. DCET wants for them to re-integrate, and continue to be included in the plans of redevelopment so that they can co-exist. DCET is contributing to the plans of their redevelopment in order to continue being productive members of society.
Due to this devastating Hurricane OTIS, at the moment and for indefinite long time, they won’t have access to receive funds, or work. We need your help! PLEASE DONATE for this great cause.
DCET's mission is to provide literacy, workforce development programs, and other educational, cultural, mentoring and community initiatives like MyC for underserved low and moderate income immigrants in its majority Hispanic/Latino youth and their families in their process, allowing them to become productive members of society.

Como Acapulco ha sido devastada recientemente por el huracán Otis, la corporación sin fines de lucro: DCET (Believe in Yourself), con licencia de la recaudación de rentas de los Estados unidos 31-164-0064, en el área de Dallas Fort Worth, ayudará a su ciudad hermana Acapulco asistiendo a un segmento de miles de familias que perdieron sus hogares. No hay electricidad, ni comida, ni agua potable, ni gasolina, ¡un caos total, una emergencia imperiosa!
DCET ha elegido a la organización (MyC) Miel y Canela ubicada en Acapulco, México que apoya a adultos jóvenes con discapacidad física e intelectual. Este grupo de 29 participantes está sufriendo la devastación total y destrucción de sus casas por el huracán Otis. ¡Lo perdieron todo! DCET quiere brindarles una semilla de esperanza.
DCET recaudará fondos para ayudarlos a obtener un lugar donde vivir y un plato de comida caliente para ellos y sus familias.
La misión de MyC es brindar oportunidades de desarrollo laboral mientras integra a sus participantes a la sociedad vendiendo productos, servicios y artesanías para poder alcanzar una gran independencia posible. En estos momentos, su visión y misión están a punto de colapsar. ¡DCET quiere rescatarlos!
Los beneficiarios de MyC no podrán actuar por sí mismos como antes. DCET quiere que se reintegren y sigan siendo incluidos en los planes de reurbanización para que puedan convivir. Hasta el momento no tienen acceso a fondos, ni a trabajo. ¡Necesitamos su ayuda!

La misión de DCET es brindar alfabetización, programas de desarrollo laboral y otras iniciativas educativas, culturales, de tutoría y comunitarias de ayuda (como MyC) para que los inmigrantes de ingresos bajos y moderados desatendidos, en su mayoría jóvenes hispanos/latinos y sus familias en su proceso de asimilación y aculturación les sea permitido convertirse en miembros productivos de la sociedad.
Los beneficiarios de MyC podrán seguir actuando por sí mismos, integrarse y convivir. DCET está contribuyendo a los planes de su reurbanización para seguir siendo miembros productivos de la sociedad.
