Help Skye Afford Her Gender Affirming Medical Care

Donation protected

My name is Skye Walker-Stiles, I'm a almost 30 year old Transgender woman, im a loving and kind woman whos goal has been to help in medicine and be a support in any way I can from the fields of pharmacology, hospital care, medically supplying facilities/clinics, and my most favorite; helping in the veterinary field in any way I can.

Being that my health insurance is based another state (NJ) and me being in Colorado has caused issues in surgically necessary electrolysis and other hair removal being denied after months of fighting with insurance to get them to cover my Healthcare needs. I'm distraught because I'm so close to having the procedures done that will finally bring my dysphoria down to a low to maintainable level and could help me really be my true self. I hate asking anyone for money because I know so many struggle like me but my options are slim and any little thing could help in the long run. My biggest focus with this possible campaign is to help get my electrolysis covered but if whats donated is more than what I need it will really also help with the starting of getting my Gender Affirmation Surgery fully set up.

Transitioning saved my life, I like how I live my life, I like how much community I have made living in a Colorado and finding so many amazing folks like me who make me feel so much more accepted. I love being able to look at myself in the mirror and liking what I've become and the woman I keep growing into it. Transitioning gave me a 2nd chance at life and I can finally see myself as finally happy in my body. If you can take me into consideration and donate whatever you can (and friends and family if you can't donate now, don't worry, just spread the message of my struggles if you wish to.

My goal is to use most of the money gained to get all pre-surgical prep like electrolysis covered as well as the pre and post surgical prep for supplies. So if we got $5000, I would use 3000 to 4000 to cover all of that. Anything left would go into helping pay for surgery costs and possibly to help during time in recovery post operation.

I plan to move beyond this in a positive way regardless and will promise to donate, spread the world, and help any other LGBT folks looking for similar help, when I am able to. Thanks for hearing about my story and thanks to any kind souls who would even considering helping me. -Much Love
