Insulin pump for diabetic type 1

I have been trying to access an insulin pump through the NHS for the past four years, without success. I'm exhausted from repeated hospital admissions, where many healthcare professionals seem unfamiliar with how to properly manage type 1 diabetes. On one occasion, I had to beg for insulin because it was simply forgotten on my prescription. Insulin is not optional — without it, I could die.
Managing my condition with insulin pens has become increasingly unmanageable. Despite doing everything I can to stay on track, I continue to experience severe lows, diabetic ketoacidosis, and frequent infections. I need better treatment. I don’t want to go blind or die young.
I’ve lived with type 1 diabetes for 28 years, and I’ve never had access to the appropriate treatment simply because I cannot afford it. This is not sustainable. I really need help.
