Insulin pump & continuous glucose monitor supply

My name is Rochelle Turner and Im a type 1 Diabetic. I have been for over 22 years! I have hit a point in my life where the cost of diabetic supplies have become extremely costly even though im working full time! I have a good job but the medical insurance is very limited when it comes to the therapy needed to safely moniter my blood sugar. Unfortuantely this has caused me to go unconscious a couple of times. My care plan has me on a system that monitors my glucose levels, but not consistently. One minute I will be fine and the next im having a severe low with no idea whats going on or what to do. Having a toddler, this can be very tricky and disconcerting, especially if Im driving a vehicle at the time. Thankfully a couple programs have allowed me to maintain the insulin i need for now at a greatly reduced cost. However, an insulin pump/supplies are important in conjunction with a true continuous glucose monitor, like Dexcom, because it syncs automatically via bluetooth and with my care team. It detects when my blood sugar is headed down and when it is headed above normal levels as well. The cost of the dexcom contiuous glucose monitor supplies per month is a around $886-$1200 PER MONTH (WITH MY INSURANCE).
So here we are, and if anyone knows me i hate having to ask for help but Im not sure what else do. If youre still reading this I appreciate you taking the time out of your day to hear a little bit about my story. Have a blessed day and Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Even if you cannot help financially, maybe you know of a program that would be beneficial to me in reducing costs!
