Hi everyone!
My birthday is coming up on June 14, and this year I want to do something that I've never done before. Inspired by my dear friend Varvara Kutsenko, who donates to animal shelters on her birthday each year, I’ve decided to follow her example — and steal her beautiful idea.
Instead of gifts, I’m asking for donations to support the Humane Society Silicon Valley (HSSV) — an organization that provides care, shelter, and love to dogs and cats until they find forever homes here in the Bay Area.
In my childhood, I had a cat and later a dog. They brought so much joy and comfort into my life. Sadly, after I turned 18 and was drafted into the army, I developed allergies, and now I am no longer able to have pets. But my love for animals has never gone away. Moreover, I find it a good idea to support those who can’t speak up for themselves.
Every dollar counts! Your gift will go directly to:
- Veterinary care
- Food and shelter
- Rescue efforts
- Adoption services
The best gift you can give me this year is helping make a difference for animals in need.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support. Let’s make this birthday one that matters.
Sincerely yours,
Anton Demyshev
