I am Mohammad Alrefai, I'm 20 years old, & I'm a refugee living in a camp for Syrians for the past 10 years. I'm going to study bachelors in sustainable environmental management, and I've got two scholarships from York University, Toronto: The Presidential Scholarship for Excellence & the Dean's Scholarship in the Faculty of Urban and Environmental Change. The scholarship will cover all fees, residence & books, but it won't cover the cost of plane ticket, which is £1900 approximately. As a refugee, I can't afford this, but I don't want to lose my scholarships. I want to be an active person within

this framework to build a more sustainable, safer, and more prosperous planet for

humanity. In particular, I am interested in combining renewable energy production and

environmental conservation, by converting environmentally harmful substances &

air pollutants into environmentally friendly energy.

Even tho I am a refugee, after more than 3 years of hard work & determination in Jordan with organizations like Oxfam, I fortunately got my Canadian study permit. Please, can you now help me get there? All of your donations - of any amount - are welcome, and I'll be very grateful.
