After too many years away, I am returning to the place I belong... a classroom full of students. I never imagined I could get back to teaching, but God had a different plan for me. I begin in August 2025 as a fourth-grade ELA teacher at St. Gabriel Catholic School in Louisville, KY. To say I am a ball of excitement, anxiety, joy, and a healthy dose of fear is an understatement. But I welcome this journey and pray that I will positively impact and inspire every child who walks through the door and into my room.

That's what brings me to this GoFundMe resource. I want my room to be welcoming, interesting, comforting, encouraging, and a place that these children want to return to, even after they have finished their brief time with me. So I am seeking financial assistance to help me create this learning space.
