Inspirational Faith Based Short Film Seeks Funding

Hi,

My name is Chiquita Melvin and I am the writer and producer of a new faith based short film entitled "Return to Sender- When our Gifts have a Deadline" . The very talented director of this film, Chris Rouse, and I, are excited to make this short film to inspire others, because we have all been blessed with a talent, a gifting, and it's for a specific purpose. God gave us our unique talents so that we would go out and use them for good and ultimately fulfill his calling for us on the Earth. This project explores 4 individuals' journeys, all from different walks of life and backgrounds, who each have a gifting, but have not yet found the courage to pursue it. It asks the question, if we don't use our gifts, what will happen?... will it be returned to sender, the creator of the universe? The message- We have to follow our giftings! That is why we are making this project. It's to encourage us all because we all have a talent and a purpose.

We are following the lives of four characters and so we will need 4 different locations, a couple of which are specialty locations, so we are raising funding for that. We are also raising money for payment for our crew and talent, props, food and refreshments for shoot days, , and also marketing and film festival entries, and any other miscellaneous fees. Our goal is to ultimately garner attention for this story through marketing efforts and film festivals, so that we can turn it into a full-length feature film!
