Warriors Eat Alphabet Soup, by Meredith Villano and illustrated by Nataly Vits
https://warriorseatalphabetsoup.com/
The main character, Judy, is a spirited little girl who becomes ill and undergoes hospitalization and treatment.  Any child facing adversity can identify with the feelings and experiences of Judy and her friends, and will gain strength and reassurance from the message that they are not alone.  Warriors Eat Alphabet Soup is a heartwarming catalyst for healing, which is embodied in a plucky little girl’s journey to health.  Help us send more copies of a book that promotes empathy, reduces fear of sickness, aids parents during a difficult time, and celebrates the joy of spending time with family and friends.

"This book should be in the gift shop of every children’s care facility, as well as being a great 'get-well' gift for any child with an illness."  Read full review here
