Innocent victim of Popeyes shooting -needing help to heal

Hello. I’m Kelly Malone. I am setting up this go fund me up for my daughter Jacquekeela who was a recent innocent bystander that was shot while waiting for her food at a local Popeyes restaurant.

Hi, my name is Jacquekeela.

On September 19, 2025, my life changed in an instant. I was simply waiting for my food at Popeyes, doing something so routine and normal. I had been asked to pull around to the front and while I waited, something terrifying happened. A man went inside, then moments later rushed back out. As I sat in my car, on the phone with my husband, I saw a Popeyes employee come outside, stand right in front of me and raise a gun. Before I could fully process what was happening, I ducked, hoping to stay safe.

Then I heard gunshots.

When I sat back up, I realized I had been shot in my left arm. My passenger window had been shattered. I’ve been dealing with not only the trauma but also serious pain and damage to my arm and hand. I don't know how long I’ll be out of work, and the uncertainty is overwhelming. Everything has been made so much harder physically, emotionally, and financially.
