For the repatriation of our uncle Innocent Isichei
Donation protected
The purpose of this Go Fund Me page is to support the repatriation and funeral activities for Uncle Inno (Ogbueshi Innocent Thomas Isichei). Uncle Inno died on Dec 5th 2018, while in Houston Texas.
My siblings and I have known Uncle Inno all our lives - about 4 decades. He was truly a fantastic person, Uncle Inno along with his wife Aunty Cee and our parents taught us the true meaning of love and friendship and family. He was a kind, patient, hardworking and innovative man. It was easy to see the love of God in Him. He never wanted anyone to worry about him, and would always say “I’m fine”, but would be the first to lend a helping hand. And although I’m sure he wouldn’t be thrilled about this, again not wanting anyone to fuss over him, I’m sure I would have been able to convince him, mostly by reminding him that he would do the same if the tables were turned. And if didn’t work defer to my dad – and after thirty minutes of their “friendly” banter one person would concede.
I know his children, my “Brothers from another mother” and “Sister from another mother” aren’t in need of help, nonetheless, for my siblings this is our own way of providing support to his family, through this emotional and traumatic experience. Friends of the Isichei's in the US will be contributing funds to the family through this avenue.
So here we go, our goal is $20,000. If we do exceed this amount, we shall certainly consider a memorial foundation in his honor.
