Inner West Mums Christmas Fundraiser 2020
Inner West Mums needs your help to make a difference this Christmas.
It has been a tough year for so many of us, but the charities that rely on our donations tend to be impacted most during challenging times. We have all felt the impact of Covid-19 in one way or another but nothing like the girls that The Girls Refuge supports.
The donations for them have been reduced significantly this year which means the level of support these girls need has been impacted.
You and I can help.
We can't fix everything for them, we can't mend their broken families, we can't take the years of abuse from them...we can't change their past...but what we CAN do, is raise some much needed funds to allow the charity to house these girls when they end up homeless.
With this fundraiser we can improve their chances for a better life, they can have hope for a better and brighter future.
This Christmas Inner West Mums is raising money to benefit Detour House Inc, and any donation will help make an impact on The Girls Refuge. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to the young girls that the charity supports.

As The Girls Refuge is operated under the umbrella of Detour House Inc, here is some information about it: Detour House Inc provides support to women who are homeless or at risk of homelessness due to drug and or alcohol dependency. This is includes a rehabilitation program for up to 15 months, case management, health education, living skills and assistance with specialist services for health, including generalist and mental health, education and training, legal and housing and accommodation services. Supported accommodation is also provided to girls who are 13 to 17 years of age who are homeless or at risk of homelessness via accommodation, case management, living skills, education and referrals to specialist services to meet the girls needs.
