In Loving Memory of Shelley Summers

On April 27, 2024 my sister Shelley Marie Summers’ time here on earth came to an end with her family at her side. 

She is preceded in death by her son Shane, and she is survived by her daughter April and her wife Lydia Buitron, her grandson Brennen Munoz, and her husband Rodney Summers, her mother Diane Parker, her father's Ricky Dunn & Leigh Parker, her siblings Kelly, Jennifer, Emily, Amie, Jocelyn, Joshua, Todd as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends who loved her very much. 

Shelley was a breast cancer survivor and a kind and gentle person.

Shelley donated her body to Donate Life in Austin, Texas. She was a very active volunteer for this organization, even speaking at events for them. This cause was very near and dear to her heart especially after seeing the great things that came from donating her son, Shane's organs when he passed away at 18 from a tragic car accident.

We would like to give Shelley a celebration of life that was as bright as she was, and to plant a tree in her memory next to her son Shane.
