It is with sadness that our family announces the sudden passing of my niece Mykala Cottrell who was 27 years young. This fundraiser is set up to help assist my brother Michael, who is faced with the difficulty of burying his 2nd child. Michael unfortunately lost his wife to cervical cancer in 2000, and tragically lost his son Mikey 3 years ago. The amount of pain and loss our family has endured is unimaginable and to be tasked with another memorial service, especially during the holidays is tough on us all.

As a family we are doing our best to pull together to assist him in this time of need, but are also seeking additional support in order for Mykala’s send off to be extra special, like she was.
