Friends, family and The Mountain View Community,
Over the weekend of December 10 2016, tragedy struck the Parson family. On Saturday 11th, Dylan Parson was on his way home from work on his motorcycle at about 6:00 pm when he was struck by a car who was making a left hand turn in front of him. He was rushed to Banner UMC with serious injuries. He had surgery Saturday night to alleviate bleeding and swelling of the brain. His doctors had been keeping him sedated in the ICU to help keep his heart rate down and allow his body to focus on healing. He had a broken wrist but no other broken bones. His temperature and heart rate had been fluctuating for few days but he had been stable. On December 13, he had a CTscan to see how his brain was functioning. The Parson family received devastating news that Dylan’s brain would not function enough for him to live without life sustaining support. On December 14, Dylan succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
Dylan’s family and close friends have been by his side day and night. His wife Shana has taken time off work to be there for him as well as thier two sons, Denin and Hayden. His mother Gail and father Darrel have been there to support him during this distressing time, along with his brother Robert. Dylan has had lifelong friends fly in from out of state to show their support and pray for him. Dylan is very active in his community and the coach of his son’s baseball team and the community has expressed their want to help. We are forever grateful for love and support that has been offered. Dylan was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, strong supporter of the Mt.View Baseball and he was loved by many, we will all mourn the loss of a remarkable man.
I am starting this account to help with any medical expenses that will arise from his surgeries and his funeral services. His family should be able to focus on healing and grieving together, not worrying about the medical bills, bills at home, or the funeral service expenses. If you are able to help in any way, we would thoroughly appreciate your generosity. If you would like to donate in any other way please contact me on facebook directly.
I will try to update this page as often as possible while still respecting the Parson family’s privacy in this very crucial and trying time in their lives.
Please share this link. Thank you all and God bless.
