In Loving Memory of Becky Gendelman

On March 10th, 2012 my oldest and only sister, Becky Gendelman, passed away suddenly at the young age of 18. She had her whole life in front of her right along side her family, and unfortunately her life had to end short. Ever since she left our lives have changed forever. To say my sister was beautiful would be an understatement. She was a person I still to this day consider the most beautiful human being inside and out. She was extremely giving, helpful, and a joy to be around.
Anyone that knew my sister knew she was the reason for smiles and laughter in a room. Whether it was family, a friend, or a stranger my sister was always the first to give a helping hand to someone who needed it. Even more so, I know more than anything that my sister wanted to give back to her community and specifically to help children. She adored children and she even was in college to pursue a career dealing with children with needs.
Her warm heart, although not beating, can still give back, with your help. In memory of my sister I decided to create this GofundMe to donate to the amazing charity, Make-a-Wish. Every dollar donated will go to this amazing, life changing organization under Becky's name. This organization grants wishes to children with life strengthing medical conditions, who may not live long enough to make those dreams and wishes happen on their own. Make a Wish grants a wish about every 37 mins and with your help that time can be even shorter. It helps children get the strength they need to push forward and help fight their battles. I know my sister would be proud to have her name and donations be placed in the hands of children who deserve it most. I wish my sister was here to see what every dollar will do to help make these defenseless children's dreams come true.
She would thank each and everyone of you personally because that was the person she was. However, I know she is watching from heaven and thanks each and everyone of you for your consideration and donation.
If there was more people like my sister on this earth, the world would be a better place. I love you sis, gone but never forgotten.
