Please help, work injury leads to personal chaos

Hi, my name is Donald Woodley. Last August I was at work and a coworker accidently knocked a wall over onto my hand, which caused a good deal of damage. Workers comp and the insurance company my workplace used delayed in getting my into surgery in a timely manner (2 weeks and a few days). Initially I was told it would be a k-wire fix, but after finally seeing a surgeon I was informed it would be four screws to repair. Whatever it takes Doc, just fix my fingers please. When I woke from surgery I discovered that not four but six screws were needed along with a plate to repair the damage to my pinky.

For the first few months I was on leave due to the injury and received the wonderful amount of 2/3 my normal pay. A good chuck of time the checks were delayed and the company involved told me for over two months that direct deposit was not an option. During that same time, my case manager decided to change carrier paths and I was left with no person of contact to try to get any help or assistance from them. Having epilepsy, my main mode of transport was my bike for the last 10+ years and the injury robbed me of the ability to use it safely so I had to rely on Uber to get to and from appointments and once cleared for duty back to work. The insurance company involved decided that we needed to go to court before i could receive my backpay during this time and court date was set 4-5 months in the future. We never did go to court, 4 days before the court date the company relented and issued my backpay which was considerably less than expected.

Bills began to pile up and I was unable to keep up, but I was not too worried thinking that I would be reimbursed for the Uber trips I had to take in order to receive care and continue to work to support myself. Two weeks ago I learned that amputation is our next step at getting back use of my hand and that I will not be reimbursed for any of the Uber fees ( which total close to 9k) and the money I thought would be coming is not going to be appearing ever. Electricity is close to being cut off, I use a free app to make and receive calls on a phone that I've had for about 7 years, so I have bit the bullet so to speak and am turning to here to see if there is anyone who can and will help me while i work  my way through this hellscape of a situation. There is the possibility of a settlement but the lawyer says that it is still too early for that.

Below are some pics of the finger at its straightest, after surgery, and the devices I wear daily in order to use the hand as best as possible and without pain. Within a month I will be without power and earning enough to get paycheck to paycheck isnt going to cut it. Fingers crossed there are some good souls out there that will help one severely unfortunate one out. Thank you for taking the time to read and please share even if you are unable to help. I am at my wits end and have no idea where to turn next.
