Wednesday, March 19th, I was riding my motorcycle home from visiting my wife's grave site. While I was waiting for traffic to clear to make a left turn, I was rear-ended by an SUV. The collision totaled the bike, and I spent 2 days in the hospital with a broken toe, dislocated finger, and multiple fractures to my pelvis. I will need to use a walker for up to 8 weeks and won't be able to drive until I can get in and out of my car without making the pelvis fracture worse. Yes, I had insurance and so did the driver that hit me, but until there is a settlement, I can't make money to keep bills paid. I hate to ask for help like this, but I really don't have much of a choice at this point.
