Injured Orea from Cats at the Tracks Rescue Project
Donation protected
This is our little gal Orea from the RR tracks. She sustained compounded foot/leg injuries but has been a challenge to get her inside to help her. Thanks to great teamwork, it finally happened this past Sunday! She was trapped and we got her to the vet on Monday.
Now in the hospital there in intensive care, draining a gangrene infection in leg, a toe on back leg had to be amputated, subcutaneous fluids, many medicines for infection, and even two rotten teeth removed during the sedated procedures. Vet and staff are trying very hard to save her injured leg since the infection is so severe.
Orea is only 5 years old but outside living can be tough and dangerous.
Every living being deserves the respect of being helped if they need it - Orea needs a lot of help right now and lots of good wishes.
Donations to help with the hospital bill will give us a chance to support other track kitties in need. Through this GoFundMe online, or a direct donation to Concord Pike Veterinary Hospital, (not able to include phone number, but is an easy lookup online.) With gratitude, thank you!! From all the volunteer caregivers, and the track kitties.
