Injured Cat's Vet Costs: Please Help Aurelius!
Donation protected
A few nights ago, my daughter's cat got out of the house. She didn't know he got out until she heard him meowing at her window, wanting to get in. Still he couldn't have been out any more than 5 hours, so it wasn't long. Not quite sure what happened, but his front nails are all worn down to nothing, and his back leg is messed up. His hip seems to be dislocated as he is limping. He goes to the vet tomorrow (4/22) which will cost $240 just to start between the office visit/exam fee and an X-ray, but I anticipate that's just the start.
I hate to ask for help, but am afraid how much this may end up costing, as vet costs are not cheap. We will not know until he is seen. If it was just the $240, it would be no problem. I just don't want a huge bill that I am unable to afford. My daughter loves this cat and he's only a year old, so he has a lot of life left in him. We adopted him in September of last year from FOCA. If everyone could spare even a few dollars, anything would help. I'm not asking to not have to pay for any of it, but just a little help with it. It will be much appreciated. Thank you all in advance whether you are able to donate or share this.
