Hi, my name is Edith, and I’m reaching out for help during one of the hardest times of my life.

I was injured at work and, after doing my best to recover, I returned to my job. Unfortunately, while working, I re-injured myself and this time fractured another bone. Because of this second injury, I am now unable to work—and my employer is refusing to pay me.

I never expected to be in this position. I want to work, but my injuries prevent me from doing so safely. Right now, I have no income coming in, and I am struggling to keep up with basic expenses like rent, utilities, medical bills, food, and transportation.
