In-home care for Tripp

Hi everyone! As most of you know, our son Tripp was disabled when he was eight months old with bacterial meningitis. He is now currently 6 1/2 years old and has diagnoses of being deaf, blind and quadriplegic. We have been thoroughly blessed these last few years having family to care for Tripp and provide all his medical services for him while Kyle and I have been working outside of the home. Recently, some unexpected emergencies have occurred, and our family is no longer able to care for him. We have looked into the local, medical daycare, Pediatrust, but there’s currently a waiting list. We are also going through the process of finding funding for in-home care through his insurance, but that can take up to six months or longer. We are now reaching out to family, friends, and those within our community in hopes of raising funds to be able to pay someone out of pocket, that is a certified medical professional to stay home with Tripp for at least the next six months or until other arrangements can be made through insurance. We appreciate all the prayers and thoughts that you have provided us with over the years. This GoFundMe me has been created for the sole purpose of paying for in-home care for Tripp. Due to his “unstable” disabled status, other companies we have looked into do not have adequate experience with children “like Tripp”. Therefore we are trying to get funding to pay a medical professional with a love of special needs children to care for him in our home.
