Funeral Costs for Ingrid Brunkhorst Hurrell

Hi, My name is Rylie Matson and I am Ingrid Hurrell's daughter-in-law. Ingrid was set free from her battle with cancer on December 5th 2022 after almost four and half years of challenging it. I have known Ingrid for almost eleven years, and these last five weeks without her have left a large hole in our hearts. She will be a much-missed wife, mother, mother-in-law, omie, sister, aunt, and friend.

Ingrid was a fascinating woman with an incredible journey. She was raised in South Africa and studied Social Work. Later she married Eric Hurrell and was an accomplished writer, photographer, and publisher. She and Eric travelled the world many times to support and care for others.

She was the mother of two sons, Jamie and Dustin. She loves nature, flowers, horses, pretty things like tea cups or spoons, her boys and us daughters-in-law, her dogs and cats, and her grandbabies, I and A.

One thing that I loved about Ingrid was that she instilled and spread love to whoever she was with. Even in her text messages, she would always send love through her emoji hearts!

I am raising funds to help support the cost of her memorial service. Eric and Ingrid have been both unable to work in the last few years as Eric has Lyme disease that leaves him with chronic fatigue and Ingrid's photography business was put on pause after her diagnosis of Breast Cancer in the summer of 2018.

We are looking for some help with her funeral costs if you can help out in any way you can.

We are planning on having a service in February 2023, but no date has been finalized yet as we need some help with funds.
