Purpose: Purchase schools supplies for the entire student population of Ingleside Elementary School

Mrs. Jannie Robinson was a Norfolk native who dedicated 39 years of invaluable service to the Norfolk Public School System as a teacher. She spent the majority of her career educating the students of Ingleside Elementary School, located in Norfolk, Virginia.

 

To colleagues, she was a partner and always there to lend a hand whenever duty called. To new teachers, she was a steady source of reassurance that their jobs were meaningful. To her students, she was a guide, she was a disciplinarian, and she was hope. As a teacher at Ingleside Elementary School, Jannie touched the lives of hundreds of students and likely a few parents as well.

 

Mrs. Robinson was passionate about education and always motivated others to reach for success. But she also loved ensuring that the students always had what they needed.

 

On May 28th, 2022, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Mrs. Robinson passed away. In memory and in honor of Jannie Robinson, we are raising funds to purchase school supplies for the students at Ingleside Elementary School. All donations will be used to purchase “New Start Kits” for the 2022-2023 school year.

 

New Start Kit:

 

Ingleside Elementary has a population of more than 400 students, and our goal is to purchase New Start Kits for every student. With your help, we can make the 2022-2023 school year a little easier for teachers, students, and parents.

 

Please help us as we continue to celebrate Jannie Robinson’s life, work, and passion for children and education. We know her legacy and love will continue to live on in those she knew and those she never knew she reached.
