Hi everyone! MAC Dance Class of 2023 Alumni Ingela Alvarado is one of the most genuine, caring, and overall wonderful people that I have had the pleasure of teaching. Her creativity and passion for dance are infectious, and she is always bringing light and inspiration to others through her choreography and her dancing. Ingela was currently pursuing her dreams at Marymount Manhattan College in New York City when something didn't feel right and she went to the hospital to get checked out. Fast forward to today: Ingela is still in the hospital after the doctors found a mass in her chest so large it is compressing her heart and lungs. Doctors are getting her ready to start chemotherapy treatment soon and although it's going to be a tough battle, we know Ingela's going to fight so hard this cancer will wish it hadn't messed with her in the first place!

Since Ingela will be incurring many medical expenses and mom won't be able to work as usual during this time or for the foreseeable future, that's where she could really use your support! Any donations to help recuperate the family's finances throughout this medical leave would be greatly appreciated.
