Informiz - Go Fund Me Campaign
A recent MIT study found that falsehood diffuses significantly farther, faster, deeper, and more broadly than the truth, in all categories of information, and in many cases by an order of magnitude.
That’s where Informiz comes in.
We are a non profit organisation based out of the Netherlands, and we aim to scale up and distribute the fact-checking process. To put it simply, we are on a mission to create a global data-lake of reliable and accurate, fact-checked information.
How Informiz works
To promote public discussion based in facts, Informiz has developed a platform that allows fact checkers from all over the world to collaborate in verifying factual claims, giving users immediate access to reliable information. Any university, media outlet, research institution, etc. can participate in the Informiz network.
Secure - Built on top of blockchain technology
Scalable - Deployed on the Cloud
Reliable - Information is cross fact-checked by the entire community
Where the funds go
The funds we raise in this campaign will be used for:
Setting up Informiz channels and expanding the data-lake. The more we raise - the more channels we can set up for fact-checking organizations!
Research & Development, e.g machine-learning algorithms for automatic scoring, tools and services for fact-checkers/readers/data-scientists
Supporting independent journalists participating in the Informiz network around the world

Our Minimal Viable Product is ready, and you can check out our demo channel . Now we need a community.
Any amount that you donate is truly appreciated, and all of your donation goes to a cause that makes trusted and reliable information accessible to anyone across the globe for free.
As a Public Benefit Organization (ANBI Stichting) donations to Informiz will be tax-deductible (pending approval from the Dutch tax authorities).
