This fundraiser is for ∞³, (infinity cubed,) an interactive light and soundscape that will be on display at A Shack of Sit, part of Snowflake Village, for Burning Man 2023. (7:45@Esplanade)
Overview
∞³ is a large mirrored cube, ~10ft³, with custom LED lighting and sound. Those inside the cube will see themselves repeated with an endless light show in every direction. Those outside the cube can appreciate watching those inside through 2-way mirrored windows as they are confronted with infinity, sharing the experience.
The lights and sounds inside will reflect this year’s theme, animalia, with LED soundscapes that are evocative of various animal environments. Users will be able to select a biome from a spinning globe and be transported from space to a biome on Earth, where they will be immersed in lights and sounds from that region before returning to space again to begin the next journey.
The Artists
Project artist Zak “Z” Suddijan is the creative mind behind this project. He brings his many years of experience with lighting and events to create an immersive and trippy environment for others to enjoy. When he’s not building interactive experiences he’s teaching classes on how to program lights and working to coordinate events in the LA area.
Edward "Hollywood" Rehr is a career lighting designer and media professional working with Zak to build this, and helping front some of the expenses.
Together they are working with and managing a team of talented individuals and suppliers to make this project happen.

Why crowdfunding?
Z & Hollywood have spent a lot funds (~$50k) creating this experience and we hope to be able to support their efforts by finding patrons willing to assist financially.

∞³ is being built to withstand extreme conditions, with professional-grade lighting equipment.
