Infinite Dates - Short Film

INTRO

Infinite Dates is a passion project from Jeremy Perez. Jeremy’s been working on this idea for about a year and a half, even before his last short film, Working Title.|, which came out a few months ago. This time he’s back and working on his latest short film with some of his close film industry friends.

SYNOPSIS

Infinite Dates is a story of a meet-cute blind date that explores infinite realities. J brings up the “Infinite Date theory” as he and M are discussing the slight and major differences of what their first date could be. As they mention each new reality, it is brought to life on the screen for the audience to see.

BUDGET

Our budget will be allocated towards production costs, distribution fees for festivals, art department needs (props, set decoration, wardrobe, makeup) and set operations. We are building our set from the ground up and will need help gaining sufficient funds to make this short film a reality.

WRITER/DIRECTOR/CO-PRODUCER

Jeremy Perez has written and directed four of his own short films since 2017. His most recent short film Working Title.|, premiered at a Film Celebration to positive reviews. This film will be his most ambitious yet, as he is incredibly excited to get production underway.

PRODUCER/GAFFER

Kaitlyn Murray has worked on Jeremy Perez’s previous two short films as a producer and assistant director. This time they team up once again as Kaitlyn stays on as a producer but is also now the gaffer. As the head of the lighting department, she’ll make sure this project shines like no other.

ASSISTANT DIRECTOR

Jon Marco Mendoza, although known for his artistic talents, this man can manage a set. As a man of many talents, he will definitely be able to communicate across all departments and help steer the ship.

DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY

Jose Cabrera has worked on many feature films in the short time he’s been in the film business. He’ll use his experience working on those camera teams to film this short and make it look as cinematic as ever.

PRODUCTION DESIGNER

David Ramirez has a background in the theater department and he will use that expertise to help build the set of Infinite Dates from the ground up. With his great eye, he and his art team will help transport the audience into each set.
