Infernal Creations

Hey, everyone!

Andy and Lisa here!

Thank you for visiting our campaign page for our film, Infernal Creations!

We are Andy Coughlan (Manicgrin Media) and Lisa Leath (Sula Pictures) – two friends who have bonded over our love of movies, TV, scriptwriting, and a great cup of coffee.

To bring our vision to life, we need your help, and we truly appreciate all contributions!

About the film

Infernal Creations tells the story of beleaguered council worker Geoff and his encounter with mysterious individuals in an old house in the English countryside.

The film was written by and will be directed by Andy Coughlan, who has written and directed several other short, award-winning films such as All in a Day's Work .

The film stars Ken Colley, a legend of the British screen and probably best known for his role as Admiral Piett in The Empire Strikes Back and The Return of the Jedi.

Alongside Ken is Mark Benton, well known for his Shakespeare and Hathaway TV show and his legendary turn as Eddie from Early Doors.

Rounding off the ensemble is Ben Shockley, who has appeared in many British cult films, including The Firm and Blazing Cannons

About us

Andy, scriptwriter and director, has written and directed multiple films and has served on various film competition boards in the UK, along with oodles of creativity and a real passion for filmmaking.

Lisa, producer, brings decades of global project management within marketing and communication, plus creative writing from two degrees and a love of giving life to creative ideas.

The creative team also includes cinematographer Russ Gomm, sound producer Darren Miller and composer the Backstar.

Director's statement

"This project harkens back to some of my favourite horror films. I wanted to nod to films like Poltergeist, Ringu, The Shining and The Woman in Black, but at the same time, have a bit of fun with it, so there's more than a little of the BBC TV series Ghosts in there too.

I've wanted to get Ken, Mark and Ben together on a project for a long time, and I'm excited we're finally getting to do it along with my regular filmmaking collaborators."
