In-Ear Monitors for Andii

Oh, hi!

 

So, I’ve been thinking about putting this together for a while, but pride is gnarly, and ultimately I feel like securing gear should be my sole financial responsibility.

 

That being said, as my hearing has begun to change in the midst of performing more full band shows, it’s not in my best interest to put this off any longer, and since I don’t currently have the savings for an investment of this nature, I’m turning to my community for a little help. I’ve researched a few IEM systems and, for the quality I would like, this amount is the ballpark estimate of what it will cost for both the monitors and transmitter. 

For those who may not know, in-ear monitors are essentially headphones that have the full-band mix playing right into your ears, while cancelling out surround noise pollution. It’s a great tool for any musician playing in a full band, but especially those who struggle with hearing issues. 

With everything going on in the world, it feels selfish asking for funding of this nature. Very “first world problem”, if you will. But it doesn’t change that this is where I’m at in life right now.
