We recently pulled Lila aka Indy from Riverside Shelter. She was listed as “No Name”, available only as Rescue - Medical due to a broken leg… and placed on the euthanasia list. We got her out and off to our vet she went! It was confirmed by our Orthopedic Specialist, that Indy had a compound fracture in her back right leg. Several X-rays later, we were also informed that a possible TPLO injury had occurred as well. It is believed she was hit by a car prior to arriving at Riverside shelter.

We are committed to Indy and giving her the best chance to save her leg, but that also means that we have a huge medical bill coming our way. We were quoted by the Orthopedic Surgeon around $4500-$5000 to repair the fracture. The TPLO repair would have to be an additional surgery at the cost of $5000.

Indy is such an absolute sweetheart, and we’re so happy to give this girl another chance at life. If you are able to donate, no matter the amount, all proceeds of this GoFundMe will go to the care of Indy. We will keep all of you posted on her recovery and future adoption!
