Indy’s Final Journey
Donation protected
Hi, if you're seeing this you probably know who I am, but if not my name's Sam and for the last 9 years I was dog mom to the best friend a girl could ask for. Indiana Jones (yes we named the dog Indiana) was about as far from his namesake as one could be, except for a general grumpiness and a deep love for those around him. His favorite things included chicken nuggets, napping right in front of the AC, and going to Grandma's.
On Saturday, June 28th, Indy crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by his favorite people. This was one of the hardest things our little family has had to navigate and we appreciate the love and support we've received from so many of you.
Now here's the kicker. This parting came after three months of care and two surgeries which have taken a financial toll on Jerry (Indy's other dog parent) and myself. For those who don't know Jerry and I, we're both hard working public servants who are doing our best to serve our community and build a life. Being a teacher and a librarian means that there is often little in the way of discretionary funds.
Things are hard for everyone right now, but if you're able to spare a few dollars to help cover Indy's end of life care and cremation services, we will be eternally grateful. And if you made it this far in this bio, and are only able to share our fundraiser, we are still incredibly grateful.
