The school: Indulkana Anangu School: A birth to Year 12 site in the Anangu Lands Partnership on the APY Lands. Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) in the far northwest of South Australia, and we acknowledge all Pitjantjatjara, Yankunytjatjara and Ngaanyatjarra people who are traditional owners of this land.

“The school values of Kunpu wanganara nintiringkupai (Strong, smart and respectful learners) are at the centre of all we do at Indulkana Anangu School. Our students, staff and families work together to ensure that all that attend our school have the knowledge and skills to be able to ‘walk in both worlds’.

”Most students at Indulkana are bilingual or multilingual; their first language is Pitjantjatjara or Yankunytjatjara.

We thank Zoe Ingoldby-Craig, the teacher of Kalaya (Emu) class, children in years 2/3/4, for her support in bringing this initiative to life with us.

The Artisans of Barossa community also acknowledge and pays respect to the Ngadjuri, Peramangk and Kaurna people as the traditional owners of the Barossa and Adelaide Hills region, the land on which we gather, converse and share.
