Indoor FLINTA Skatepark in Vienna

A year and a half ago we started the project 1240 as a group of 3 friends wanting to share our passion for skating. Our goal was to help the FLINTA (women, lesbians, inter-, non-binary, trans and a gender people) skating community of Vienna to connect and support each other. By now we are a group of over 30 people who regularly meet up to skate. Our biggest dream through all this was always to create an indoor skatepark to be able to skate during bad weather and to offer a safe space for our community. And now our dream is finally coming true!

We recently signed a lease for a souterrain space and are now in the process of renovating it and building a skatepark in there. However, fixing the floors, building obstacles, buying ramps – all this costs a lot of money, which we are struggling with. Every donation helps us get a bit closer to fulfilling our dream!
