Indira's son: CAMPAIGN IS OVER. Thanks donors!

Donation protected
Arjun, energetic, smart, caring, hard working, fun son of the Himalayan Rescue Association's equally wonderful Nepali cook Indira, was injured in a motorcycle vs truck accident on Feb 22nd.  He was hospitalized with irreversible injuries and finally succumbed on March 10th.

Sadly, the economics of life in Nepal are such that people need to ride motorcycles to get around and the driving conditions are treacherous.  Unfortunately, there is no health or funeral insurance in Nepal so families suffer financially long after the tragedy.

The HRA Alumni have created a GoFundMe page to raise funds to help cover hospital and funeral costs, estimated to be $5000-$10000 USD.  Any additional money will be used to help Arjun's wife Nita and their 3 year old daughter as Arjun had just recently started a great job in Bangladesh but had not been there long enough to accumulate savings.

Our hope is that each person will give at least 1 hour of their salary to help this family who means so much to many of us, but we know that whatever you can give will be appreciated by Arjun's family. Please share this campaign widely.

Be safe out there!
