Help Me Grow My Tech Company

Overview
My name is Tobias Gilbert and I'm a System Engineer based in Atlanta, Georgia. I'm raising money to do two things:

* Expand my service offerings to remain competitive.
* Obtain the first office for one of Atlanta's first Black-owned IT Managed Service Providers, IndigoWave.

Since we have been in operation we we've grown. The new space will not only be a centralized hub for operations but also a inclusive community hub for classes, workshops, and events.

I currently have a small amount of seed money and a healthy client base for our small operation. Now, I need your help to take the next step and open our first location in North Atlanta.

Why now?
I've spent the past 10 years working in a number of technical positions supporting companies in various industries including law, retail, medicine and telecoms. It has been abundantly clear that technology and all of its branches are intimately intertwined with all of our day to day lives. More importantly, it highlights a need to have Black representation in tech leadership that understands this.

After extensive research, I found that there are little to no Black-owned managed service providers in Atlanta. Its important that the younger techies be able to see themselves in leadership roles; a Black-owned space will allow BIPOC and other disenfranchised groups to explore a field that has been primarily dominated by white males.

How will the money be used?
Your donation will be used to pay the office space rent for a year (to ensure the business can continue without interruption), purchase inventory for the space including servers, enterprise licensing, strategic partnerships, help cover the salary of a part-time employee who will assist me with day-to-day operations, and allow the opportunity for the development of a training lab for entry level techies interested in exploring and realizing their own purpose.
