THE STORY
Indigo, a 10-year-old girl who can only comprehend the colour blue, lives in a tumultuous household marked by her parents' constant fights and her father's gambling addiction. Amidst this turmoil, Indi resorts to drawing, and harbours a dream of visiting the beach, a symbol of escape and happiness for her personally. Her mother, Sharon, constantly battling the fathers evil habits, strives to shield Indi from the harsh reality of the world, but limits her in the process. Indi, determined to make her dream come true, secretly takes matters into her own hands. When an unexpected opportunity arises, she embarks on a journey towards the beach, leaving behind a family on the brink of collapse. As Indi inches closer to her dream, the story explores themes of resilience, family bonds, and the pursuit of a brighter future.
This story delves into the struggles and aspirations of a young girl, highlighting the transformative power of determination and hope in the face of adversity.

THE BUDGET
Our budget consists largely of film equipment we require to make this film visually stunning which will allow us to tell the story to its full potential. Whilst we have a cinema camera in our kit, we will require vast camera attachments, such as a camera monitor, follow focus, digidolly, mattebox and ND filters, paired with various lighting equipment, to give Indigo the look it deserves.
Other production related costs include council & location fees, catering for Cast and Crew, travel costs and post production costs (colour grading).
