Indigenous Trans Woman in need of Survival Funds
Donation protected
Mutual Aid fund for Indigenous trans woman seeking stability, rent, and a life away from sex work. Our friend is seeking to save up and find work outside of sex work due to its physically taxing and traumatic nature. The fund covers groceries, a few months rent, expenses for transportation and healing. Our friend has a community around her that can mentally support her through this transition however, many of our beautiful trans siblings of color’s lives are usurped by navigating basic survival needs under cruel societal and state systems that make life for them unsustainable in isolation and even in community, leading many to make calls to our wider community for mutual aid through GFM campaigns.
Mutual aid is not charity and our BIPOC trans and queer siblings should not feel embarrassed or ashamed to ask for financial and communal care and assistance when they are what make our communities so vibrant and beautiful. Please consider helping our friend move beyond sex work and reconnect herself to her beauty and vibrancy which each and everyone around her cherishes and benefits from. WE are all we have. Thank you.
