IndieVation: A New Way for Indie Art to Thrive!

Hey everyone! My name is Relicia Morrison, musically known as RelliKay. I am the CEO of the newly developed organization, IndieVation LLC. We are an LLC with a non-profit purpose, based in Dallas, TX. This organization was founded to provide grants, materials, and resources to independent artists within the music, art, and gaming industries. I have been an indie artist in music for 8 years now and I know the impact it can have on one's creativity and drive when there are not enough resources specifically for them. Through trial and error in my personal music career, I learned that there is a need within the arts industry. I've encountered many indie artists with undeniable talent, but the struggles always boil down to these: lack of financial backing and a need for materials/resources. What if I told you that this community seeks to provide both of those for independent artists in need? And at no cost! Music artists will no longer feel the need to sign to a record label. Artists will no longer need a big art gallery to validate their work. Game developers can create and test their games within a fresh community built just for them. Our mission is provision and community.

Beyond meeting the needs of these industries, we plan to expand into photography/videography, theater, and dance. In the future, we wish to have a physical location, first in Dallas, TX and as we grow, we would like to build facilities in other states as time goes on. We strive to keep our community at low to no cost for our artists. Regarding the future facility, artists would only pay a reasonable annual membership to have access to all of the tools they need. Think of us as the "Boys and Girls Club" for the arts!

IndieVation believes that God has given gifts to everyone, which means that everyone has a natural right to be provided an opportunity to exercise that gift to the best of their ability.
