honeymoon and climate and water issues

We have a friend that is studying snow leopards in the Indian Himalayas - so we are going to meet up with that poor soul and try to find us some kitties. We set an amount that essentially will cover travel to India. Anything beyond this amount we will donate evening between two charities that we feel good about. Clean Water Action (https://cleanwater.org) supports water quality issues nationally - we support their work specifically in Michigan that goes toward equitable access to water (think Flint), and reducing pollution (think PFAS - southeast Michigan is full of industrial legacies). The other organization is Client Earth (https://www.clientearth.org/about/), a group of climate activists that tried to create systemic change via legal pathways - this group was recommended to us by a good friend of Nina's who is heavily involved in this type of activism.

As I have said, we both feel really weird about this. But we are told it is the thing to do - so we will in our own way. Thank you all so much.
