Hello all!!! I am currently raising money to go on a Missions Trip to Kampala, Uganda this summer. The trip will cost $3,000. Of course, I do not have that much money laying around lol. This is where I need your help!
The mission trip is through the Global Missions Ministry at Berean Christian Church. We will leave for Uganda on July 4, 2017, and will arrive back in Atlanta on July 14, 2017. The $3000 will cover round-trip airfare, hotel stays, food, and culture activities.
The Bible verses that support this ministry are:
- Matthew 28: 19, 20
- Mark 13: 10
- Acts 1: 8
- Revelation 14: 6
The purpose of the Global Missions Ministry is to:
- Advance the Kingdom of God in Africa holistically
- Develop members for missionary ministry
- Establish mission opportunities
- Win souls for Christ
The missionary activities include:
- Working with children at Kamuli Orphanage
- Painting classrooms
- Facilitating a children’s outreach
- Planting flowers and trees
- Assisting with a medical clinic
- Assisting with Pastors and Leaders conference
- Running a Children's Camp
- Working with children at the Abandon Children's Home
- Assisting with a mass feeding
- Praying and evangelism with local community
Because the mission trip is so soon, I want to pay the full amount no later than the end of May. I truly believe that I will meet my goal donation amount and deadline. Any extra money that comes in will be used to help out any other missionaries that are going.
