India Trip to Give Polio Vaccine
Donation protected
Polio has not been part of the United States since the 1960's. Other parts of the world are still struggling with this dreaded disease. I have been asked to join an International Rotary Team to help complete the final stages of eradicating polio from India. In February I will be going to India where I will be giving the actual Oral Polio Vaccine to the children on National Immunization Day. It is then that we as Rotarians, along with The World Health Organization, Unicef, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation expect to declare the country of India and the region surrounding it Polio free! It is humbling to be part of such an important event. You can be a part of this historic event as well. Your donations will allow us to meet the goals we have as a team, as well as defray the sizable cost of the trip. No donation is too small, every donation is greatly appreciated and it is going to a great cause.
Thank you,
Stan Malcolm
