Indiana Needs Your Help for Vital Surgery

Hello, everyone,

For those who may not know me, my name is Tasha Jocz. And for those who do, you know that my child takes the form of a nine-year-old chihuahua named Indiana, whom I rescued in Los Angeles in 2017. Indiana has been my little sidekick, my best friend, and the most loyal companion—but right now, he’s facing a serious health crisis, and I need your help to give him the care he deserves.

Indiana needs urgent dental surgery to remove all of his teeth, which will cost nearly $6,000 due to complications from stage 3 kidney disease and heart disease. The procedure is more complex and expensive because of his existing conditions, but without it, his health will continue to decline. This surgery is critical for his well-being and will allow him to live a longer, pain-free, and happier life (though I’ll definitely miss his little snaggle teeth!).

I’m asking for help in raising $5,000—and I know that’s a big number. Trust me, I wouldn’t ask if it weren’t absolutely necessary. I was hit hard by the film industry strikes two years ago and have been working four part-time jobs just to make ends meet. I’m doing everything I can to cover costs, but I simply can’t do it alone.

Any amount you can give—no matter how small—will go directly toward Indiana’s surgery and recovery. If donating isn’t possible, I completely understand, but sharing this page would mean the world to me.

The vet assured me that this surgery will not only get rid of Indy’s awful breath but, more importantly, prevent abscesses, infection, and chronic pain, giving him a real chance at a longer and healthier life. The doctor has urged me to get this done sooner rather than later to prevent further complications.
