Indiana JBiz Club for JUF Isreal Emergency Fund
Tax deductible
As strong advocators for the continuance of Jewish Education among all Jewish people, we, the Olami Jewish Business Club of Indiana University, have been long-time supporters of the JUF. We typically donate to the Education branch of the JUF, however, Israel is in the midst of an emergency and is in desperate need of funding. In the words of the JUF itself, "With Israel at war and antisemitism surging, supporting JUF has never been more urgent." We hope to utilize our wide reach at Indiana University and inspire students and colleagues alike to donate money to Israel in a time of need. Any donation will make a positive impact on Israel and our Jewish family's well-being. All funds received will be donated directly to the JUF Israel Emergency Fund. Any excess funds received in the future (once this crisis ends), will be donated to the Education branch of the JUF.
The funding the JUF receives goes directly towards the critical support of the Israeli - People, this includes the following (not all listed):
JAFI Victims of Terror Fund (immediate cash assistance to families of injured/killed people)
First Responders United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom
NATAL (trauma care for victims and families)
Housing for families who have lost their homes
Services for families & children in the line of fire
(In the Longer term) Rebuilding communities that have been destroyed and providing relief to victims
& more

Here is a brief paragraph of the JUF's mission provided by the JUF:
JUF amplifies our collective strength to make the world a better place — for everyone. Community-powered, we consider the totality of local and global Jewish needs and how to address them. From generation to generation, we help people connect to Jewish life and values, fueling a dynamic, enduring community that comes together for good. As a member of the greater Chicago community, JUF also participates in the wider civic arena of addressing general community needs and problem-solving for people of all faiths.
Sincerely,
The Olami JBiz Executive Board
