Indian Dreams Foundation (IDF) foresees a future where every girl is educated and empowered. IDF was founded in 2005 with the belief that every child has the right to education and the ability to control their own lives, lead a healthy life and attain a sustainable livelihood.

We focus on advancing girls' education through our different programs and activities. We have identified and worked towards eliminating the barriers to girls' education, such as poverty, gender discrimination, child marriage, early pregnancy, gender–based violence, safety, hygiene and sanitation, access to clean water, and the lack of menstruation awareness. We are committed to empowering girls with education and skills training that will contribute to the holistic development of life skills and leadership capabilities. We implement tailored programs to address these girls' needs and empower them to be independent, resilient and self–confident.

Our project aims to create an enabling environment for the empowerment of girls through education and life skills to minimize the girls' dropout rates, and reduce the incidence of early and forced marriages of girls in the community.

The project will provide after school education support classes and life skills education to 100 out-of-school girls from socially and economically disadvantaged communities. The activity-based school support classes will help resolve the girls' academic struggles, which hinder their overall growth and leads to low levels of self-confidence. The curriculum will be focused on positive recreation, awareness, basic computer literacy, and life skills. The program will also develop leadership skills of girls and in turn train some of the girls to serve as champions of change in their community who support other girls.

The project will help girls improve academically , improving the retention rate of girls in school. This allows them to perform better in the classroom and thus lower their chance of drop out.

We aim to reach 100 girls aged 11 –15 for eighteen months from socially and economically disadvantaged communities of Agra district, Uttar Pradesh state, India.
