Hi, my name is Eric Dineen and I am a 16 year old transition year student in Midleton CBS. I will be participating in a 35 km Adventure Race this august in Tipperary called the knockmedown challenge. Its takes place on a mountain range called the Knockmealdown Mountains and in this race I will be Cycling, Kayaking and Running various amounts each. I am doing this as I am trying to fundraise money for my project in February 2025 where I'll be travelling to Kolkata India along with 5 other students and two teachers as part of the India Immersion Project.

We are travelling to India as part of the Christian Brothers Developing World Immersion Programme, We will be staying with the christian brothers during our time there and we will be working with St George's school for street children - Bowbazar. We will be teaching the students there and also learning an invaluable amount about India and life over there. We will also be visiting The Mother House which is the home of Mother Teresa and St Mary Teresa.

This project is something I have wanted to do for many years now since I first heard about it and is a great opportunity for me and I would be very grateful for your help.
