Hi my name is Ash and I’m gorgeous Indi’s mumma,
Indi is our 10 month old ridgeback pup, who is the light of our families life.
unfortunately Indi was diagnosed with Wobblers syndrome last week after a 3 night stay at the vets, with many tests done.
Indi is currently unable to hold her weight, she is unable to stand up to toilet and is currently in diapers for her inability to move for continence.
This also means Indi is unable to walk, let alone move freely around and/or run.
Unfortunately due to the severity of Indis Wobbler Syndrome the vet has confirmed Indi will never be able to walk properly or run again, unless we would be able to afford the only surgery they offer for this condition. However this surgery’s cost is $20,000.
So far Indis vet bills have costed well over $4k and are continuing due to continued medication and treatments, and regular check ins with the vet to ensure she isn’t declining any further.
With the severity of Indis wobblers condition Indi will most likely have to be put down unless there is any chance of her being able to undergo the surgery offered down in Sydney or up in Brisbane.
As a young family with a young daughter we unfortunately do not have the funds to afford a $20k surgery, even if it means saving our biggest light in this worlds life.
It was suggested I make a go fund me, in the hopes to raise money for the chance of getting our baby the life saving surgery she needs.
At only 10 months old, Indi had so much life left to love and we are beyond shattered and heartbroken it could be over so soon. Hence why I’m giving this go-fund-me a go as I’m unsure what else to do and would forever regret not trying.
Her favourite thing to do was frolicking along the beach and playing with her friends at the local dog beach, which she went to daily, and now our poor baby has been robbed of the ability to do the things she truly loves.
Any donation no matter how small would count toward Indis treatment, even if we can’t get enough for the surgery it opens up avenues of recommended therapies such as CBD treatment, Chiropractic therapy, Acupuncture ect.
We don’t want to have to give up on our girl just yet, but we also can’t keep her going the way she is and with how much she is suffering.
Thankyou in advance, for reading Indi’s story, and even more so if you are able to donate, we will hopefully be able to keep everyone interested following along in Indi’s journey updated as we navigate through her treatments and hopefully can better her condition
